Truck Tyre Fitting
If you need a tyre fitter then TruckTyres can arrange for a Professional, Reliable and Fully Insured mobile truck tyre fitter to attend your site and fully fit your new tyres at a time and date that suits you. Simply let us know once your new TruckTyres order has been delivered and we will then process your fitting request and take an additional payment.
Please note that we only fit tyres supplied by ourselves that have been purchased through TruckTyres. In addition, tyre fitters whilst fully trained and experienced may not have the equipment or experience needed to work on vintage, military or non-standard commercial trucks. If in any doubt please contact us to discuss your requirements. We are also unable to offer breakdown / road-side emergency fitting.
Site Attendance Charge: £35 + VAT (£42 Inc VAT)
A site attendance charge helps cover the fitters travel time to/from site, and any diesel and truck maintenance costs they incur. Our network of truck tyre fitters cover the majority of mainland UK, including most parts of Scotland. For the majority of our customers in non remote mainland UK the standard site attendance charge applies. Some remote parts of Scotland may be unreachable or incur excess site attendance charges if the travel time is extensive. If you are in any doubt please discuss your requirements with us prior to placing an order.
Tyre Fitting Charge (Per Tyre): £40 + VAT (£48 inc VAT)
The per tyre fitting charge covers the removal and replacement of one truck tyre. The fitters will demount your old worn or punctured tyre, and carefully remount your newly purchased truck tyre, inflating it to pressure best suited for the tyre itself and/or the truck it is being fitted to. The wheel nuts will then be torqued correctly.
Tyre Disposal Charge (Optional): £22 + VAT (£26.40 inc VAT)
The tyre disposal charge is an optional fee for those customers who would like their old demounted tyre removing from site and scrapping. All tyre disposal is done in as environmentally friendly manner as possible, and the legal tyre scrappage requirements are fully adhered to. Alternatively, if you prefer for your old tyres to be left on site after the works have been completed then no disposal charge is added.
Other Bits and Bobs Regarding Fitting
TruckTyres only works alongside creditable and fully vetted tyre fitters. We take what can be a time consuming or daunting task for customers who have not had to handle a tyre replacement before, and make the process simple, transparent and affordable.
We will first process and dispatch your online truck tyre order as normal with our courier delivery service. Once you have received and checked over the tyres simply notify us and we will confirm the fitting details with you, such as site address, contact name/phone numbers and your truck make/model/registration. We will take the payment and start the booking process and request a time/date that works for you.
The fitters will then arrive to site and complete the works. You will be asked to check and sign off the job by the tyre technician. You will not need to make any payments to the fitters or handle any other paperwork. Our team will check in on your jobs progress and provide you all the relevant invoices and jobs sheets for your records.
